FOB – Free On Board

TTT – Tank To Tank

CIF – Cost Insurance & Freight

TTV – Tank To Vessel

FOB means the seller delivers the goods on board the vessel nominated by the buyer at the named port of shipment. The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the buyer once the goods are on board the vessel. The seller is responsible for export customs clearance and other costs up to that point.

TTT refers to the transfer of liquid goods from one storage tank to another. This term is commonly used in the petrochemical and oil industries. The process ensures the product is safely and efficiently moved without exposure to the external environment.

CIF means the seller delivers the goods on board the vessel and pays for the cost, insurance, and freight to bring the goods to the named port of destination. The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the buyer once the goods are on board the vessel. However, the seller must also procure marine insurance against the buyer's risk of loss or damage during transit.

TTV refers to the transfer of liquid goods from a storage tank to a shipping vessel. This term is used in logistics and transportation of bulk liquids like oil or chemicals. It involves careful handling and equipment to ensure the safe loading of the product onto the vessel for transportation.
